The Friends of The Blackden Trust would like to thank everyone that supported our group during 2009 and contributed so generously at our fundraising events.

After only one year of activity, FTBT is able to sponsor one day course organised by The Blackden Trust at Goostrey Community Primary School. Tom Hughes, Community and Education Officer at the Salt Museum in Northwich and tutor of The Blackden Trust, will spend a day with Year Six children and lead them through a series of activities designed to help them develop historical awareness.

FTBT is hoping to be able in future to sponsor similar courses with other schools.
