Botanical Dyes, Pigments and Inks from the Herb Garden

Join us for a fascinating half-day workshop exploring the colours that can be obtained from the plants in the herb garden at the Old Medicine House. Learn how the colours are extracted and how the resulting liquid can be turned into dyes, paints and inks.

Enjoy a guided walk around the lovely herb garden of the Old Medicine House.

Paint a small picture to take home with you using inks made from plants.

The event will be led by Nicola Swinnerton from the Alsager Guild of Weavers, Spinners and Dyers.
